I
really enjoy helping people learn to use their computer with competence and
confidence. I've taught people of all ages, from children to seniors;
some who knew quite a bit to start and some who got overwhelmed after "just turning
the darned thing on." Despite their fears, not one of them "looked
stupid," was "hopeless" or was too young or old to learn. They've
always learned, and we've always laughed. That's how it should be.
I can teach you the basics of computer usage, provide
help
with specific software programs (such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop,
Microsoft Publisher, etc.), or get you sending e-mail and “cruising”
the Internet .
Most of what I know comes from
experience, not just
books or a classroom. I won’t try to impress or intimidate you with
techno-jargon like a high-paid "instructor" from a computer store. If
I don't know the answer… I won't pretend I do. I'll find out the answer and
then we'll continue.
